Asahi Broadcasting Group Holdings Corporation and Asahi Television Broadcasting Corporation (collectively referred to as "ABC") are continuing their challenge to create new video content, and as part of that effort, they have been distributing the drama "TOKYOCASE" (2 episodes in English/Japanese versions) worldwide since October of last year on Meta Quest TV (Meta Quest 2 app).
In addition, they aim to realize a world of "co-creation" by creating content together with many creators while exploring the possibility of business development. To this end, 888 limited edition Magatsuhi Genesis NFTs will be distributed for free as evidence of participation in this project.
To make this project known to many creators, "Parallel Creation" of "TOKYOCASE" will be started on SNS. "Parallel Creation" is a co-creation activity based on the value of co-creation, "Let's create works together by sharing IP, not in the traditional relationship between IP holders and secondary creators!" Creators are asked to obtain an NFT and create works related to TOKYOCASE (use of performer's portrait is prohibited), and post them with the specified hashtag from their Twitter/Instagram accounts. Works of participants will be retweeted and shared by the official account.
Creators who post excellent works may be commissioned to produce their works in the future (not necessarily commissioned), and in the case of next works, participants' creations (posted works) will be discussed with regards to "payment of consideration," "credit notation," etc. In addition, only NFT holders are granted various business development rights, such as admission to a special web page (planned), and the right to commercialize the TOKYOCASE IP.
